I want a love that grows
like a flower that never ends.
when the roughest winters
make it wither
it grows back
more beautiful than it was before.
when the rain falls
when the floods rise
it will not die
it will not break.
the sun will shine
like it always does
breaking through the clouds,
through the darkness.
a love that does not end.
one that takes my breath away.
makes me light headed.
dizzy.
i want a love like yours
to be with me.
always.
