That Night.
The dark night with silver dots,
And a lighthouse signaling to a ship,
The bridge, where I stood,
Ships sailing beneath me,
Boys skateboarding behind me,
I stared absentmindedly at a letterbox with ancient carvings,
I tried to make out what the breeze blowing past me had to say,
I could see my future as clearly as the blank sky,
The future I would give anything for,
The future I so wanted to be a part of,
The future without which my life wouldn’t be absolute,
The future I could never imagine to lose.
