You think I'm not a writer 'cause I talk about a world that could shine a little brighter?
Because my work is filled with joy?
Well here's a poem to prove to you that I'm just a teenage boy
I have thoughts and emotions that rage like storms in the oceans
But i live life to the fullest everyday because we'll all die soon anyway
Your poems are filled with Darkness and Despair that make me wanna rip out my hair
I'm so tired of hearin' all this teenage drama just because your mad at your mama
I don't use a simile, so you look down on me?
Couldn't care less about a metaphor so you throw my poem out the door?
You use vocabulary that's depressing and scary, and your classmates love it because they feel like part of it
I know you feel like I'm wasting your time, well i feel like im wastin' this rhyme
