To My Boxing Gloves
I've always had an issue with--Locking
my anxiety and wrath away.
Without them
I N S A N I T Y
would strike my mind like
L I G H T N I N G,
Pink mirror images, like
I D E N T I C A L T W I N S
that grasp my fury
in between their fingers;
pounding out my every thought, like rolling
T H U N D E R,
they attack with a livid din of blows.
Screaming what is trapped inside, they are my
U N E X P R E S S E D V O I C E.
