Waking up late,
Rushing to get on time,
Changing lanes without looking,
Running the light.
SCREECH, SLAM
Now your car is on the side of the road,
Getting out,
In a confused like state,
Somehow managing to make it
To the other driver’s car,
Seeing the totaled car.
Sirens in the distance,
Picturing the driver and their family,
Trying to find out,
How you will ever live with yourself.
