A dark creature at night
but a normal person by day.
Like a werewolf with a full moon
completely different when the sun is shining.

Happy and delightful in person
smiling and always outgoing.
But inside is a shy side.
It knows it could never come close with humans.

This creature is so used to pushing away.
Always having to escape the crowd and be alone.
Too independent for the creatures own good.

So at night it dreams of finding someone
who will not judge or criticize but love and understand.
Someone to trust with secrets.

Don't know if true love will come and shine down not just during the day but also at night...
At the darkest time of day.
