Just a Little Innocent

I'm just a little innocent
Just a little out of it
Ready to fall out the sky
Without the wings I need to fly
Ready to brace against a breeze
Hold back a sneeze
Ignore all the pain
And drive some people insane

I'm just a little innocent
Ready to shout 'bout it
Dreaming of my future
Of Ponyboy my tutor
On life and reality
On love and vanity

I'm just a little innocent
Just a bit afraid of it
Of growing up and lettin' loose
Of everything I gotta choose
Just lookin' for the perfect friends
Wishin' it all wouldn't end
Wishin' for someone to hold
Wishin' just to stay gold

How the heck am I the first to comment?! This is AMAZING!! I have to admit, though, when I saw the preview of it on your page, I thought it was going to be a song. You could easily translate this to a limerick or song lyrics. But great job!!!
