Coldly Numb

The numbness sets in
The cold comes.
After a while,
You just cant feel it anymore.

The hurt.
The pain.
The suffer.
...you just cant feel it anymore.

Why must i stay,
Awake in this death
It's as if I'm drowning as I speak

Must you push me down?
Must you push me under?
Making me take in the last bitterness
That last breath before I sleep
An eternity I wait.
