It's Hard
You say it's just high school,
And yeah, maybe it is.
But it's still hard.
To be so completely happy.
To look forward to each new day.
To be so content,
And then it's all ripped away.
To suddenly be so alone.
To want to crawl up and cry,
Cry for days on end.
To be so depressed.
It's hard,
To never be able to fully enjoy,
A truly happy moment,
Cause you know soon,
It'll all be gone.
And you'll be back in that hole, That hole of despair.
It's hard,
To watch everyone around you be so,
so happy,
So happy all the time,
And know you'll never have that.
It's hard.
