What She Couldn't See
Most innocence is lost.
No longer a kid, an effort to grow,
but she's not growing maturity.
She's way over her head.
When her thoughts catch up with her actions
then she'll know she's to blame.
She couldn't see the fear in her friends eyes,
about the fate she'd have to face.
but how can she grow?
how will she learn?
When through it all she thinks life is a game.
