Poseidon’s Deed
The crash of the silent cry,
her soundless body lies on the hot shore
mangled in the sand limp as seaweed.
Shells crack under her heavy soul.
The dark water stirs,
in the chilling air.
The sadness slows her beating heart,
as the sea takes her in.
His trident spears her remains,
as she’s carried away by supple sea.
