Silence

Silence has a sound,
It's the sound from nowhere that drives,
It's the sound that is impossible to block out,
The sound that lurks in the darkest of shadows,
And surrounds the lonely,
Silence is the signature of fear and doubt,
The words unspoken that creep,
The unwanted seeds that blow through minds,
Winding the crazed to far,
Silence is the cautious lurking,
The mouthed yelling,
The faked smiles,
The un-beating heart,
Silence is the un-happening,
Silence is the unsure,
Is the quiet.
