When ideas come into my brain,
They enter, quick as a flash!

Unexpected and strange.

When I catch the ideas in my

Brain,
I must inspect them, make sure

They pass the test.

What idea will I choose?

Then, after process of

Elimination,

I take out my pencil.

I write! I draw! I goof

Around!

How will I use my idea?

Sometimes, though, I store

The idea in my brain.

It can stay there,

A treasure through the

Ages.

Or, it can slip away,

Gone in a flash,

Forever.

What do you do with an

Idea?

Do you write it down?

Or let it slip away?

The author's comments:
I decided to write this piece when I wasn't sure what else to write about. I feel that this piece truly expresses a bit of myself, and I hope this poem inspires others to be creative and insightful.
