The sun sets leaving me in a sleepless night
hours apon hours, this feeling isn't right
the phone never rings like it use to
and yet i still wait
you told me i was everything
perfection in your mind
is that still true?
i was stupid, i believed in you
my heart aches, keeping me awake
was it real or was it fake
your face, oh your face
is my insomniac dream
every corner of my room holds a memory of you
i remember your brown eyes
your laugh, your smile, your voice
even your last spoken goodbye
each part of you engulfs my thoughts
my broken dreams
through insomniac seams
your face, your laugh, our love
my insomniac dream
