Pick up another, pull it right through
I’ve changed the pattern again
No longer following the same routine with these multicolored threads
This pattern will never end

Another pattern, another routine
To decide what I wish it to be
I want this to be beautiful
I want this to express me
Which is why this goes over and under and through the loop again

Threading a bracelet is a never ending pattern like life
You can change the routine any time
To be who you want to be, to be set apart from the world
You are the one who controls your own pattern in life
If this is true, then why do we let others choose our pattern for us?
