Just Too Slow
I remember the first day I met you,
you made me feel so great.
Before that day,
I had never believed in fate.
From then on,
I'd smile whenever you were there.
So many enjoyable moments,
and millions more to spare.
Even when things go rough,
we were still able to talk.
Happy from the top of my hat,
to the tip of my sock.
I knew I had to say those three words,
But I didn't know when I should.
But then He came and said them,
Before I ever could.
All this love I had for you,
I never let you know.
Now it's too late,
Cuz I was just too slow.
