Controversy

What does this world have to offer?
Can I stay a moment here?
And talk to you for a while longer
With me you have nothing to fear
I’m just a person

We are capable of the most remarkable things
We can kill and destroy
We can give and take lives
It depends what you’re like though
That makes everything different
It’s all the difference

You just have to find it in yourself
You have to look forward to these things
Not back on the past
Time is such a strange thing
Is it not?
Impossible to traverse and just as hard to understand
Take the time to realize
Realize what?
The fact that we’re all going to die?
The fact that our lives are random?
And the fact that we are all worthless?
What am I supposed to realize?
Realize life?
Realize death?
Why?
What can we accomplish with realization?
It’s just a thought
Spewed forth from my vivid, crazy, imagination
So why do we think?
And breathe and sing?
If our life is meaningless then what’s the point
Why do we carry ourselves forth?
Why are we alive?
Why do we deserve it?
Life
We ruin and waste this “gift”
Of all the other more deserving things in this universe
Why are we “graced” with life?
Why do we deserve it?

Life, she said
Is beautiful
Magical
Spontaneous
And all in all
She said
Life is love
That’s why we live
Love.
