Writing poem

As i sat Blank minded
a Small beam of light shined in
thoughts arrived like butterflies
i wrote the poem as time flew by
as my mind contemplated rhymes
i found myself losing time
soon the sun would rise and the day would come.
but i hoped the sun would set and the day would be gone
I wrote the poem in my desolate room
The morning was filled with a dewy perfume
Time flew by with a silent sound
i had no sleep my head spinning round.
i ran to school and found something out
The assignment wasn't due i wanted to shout
