I want to amend
these broken words,
blot them from my mind and your mind
and find a way to close these
battles
between our fingertips

I want to open to the right page
where we agree to something
that has no definite name or place
where time is not measured by
what has past
or by what we have lost.

This is based off of a writing exercise. I was to write a poem using the vocabulary from a certain school subject, and I chose history. So, this poem is about a relationship, but it is compared to some aspect of history.
