All around me what do I see
People on the streets crying out of plea
Asking for a savoir to come and rescue me.
Living in poverty.
Scavenging
Looking threw garbage so that they can eat
They give it there all and yet they feel like all they can do is fall.
There looking for an answer
Someone who will care,
Someone who will give there hand and say I am there.
Who will come and save us now?
Our hearts cry out
Can anyone hear us now?
Were on the ground with our hands spread out
Asking for someone to care
To show love
To show how faith can live threw despair.
Come with me now as we sing out
As we show them what caring is all about.
To live to love and to laugh may seem easy
But to these people its not all that easy.
