how many times I read your words.
Or look at your picture and smile.
Always hoping, never forgetting.
If you just knew,
how I miss your hand over mine,
or how badly I wish I could see you.
What would you do?
If you just knew,
Could I put your fears to rest?
Ease all the pain I know
is caused by me..
If you just knew,
Your photo is in my wallet,
and your initials are on my locket.
Or that your face I know most clearly.
If you just knew,
I still love you,
would you smile just for a second?
Know that my silence is for you.
