You're Gone
Your Familiar Face,
The one I see right before I sleep,
My memories define you,
The only thing I have to keep.
They won't fade,
Forever etched into a part of me.
I overflow with them,
still I feel empty.
Letting you believe,
The most selfish of my sins.
Knowing how you felt,
But I couldn't seem to quit.
Out of control,
This is what I wanted right?
Beginning of the end.
Stars fading in the night.
I ruined us.
Didn't know what I could do.
Why dredge this up?
I guess I'm missing you too.
