Snow is fallin here all around
time for me to be on my merry way
thank you sir i'm most thankful
such a pleasing stay
time for me to be on my way
the door slams behind me as I walk out
I feel it the world
rushing on moving on
without me the same it has managed to stay
i will tip my hat to you as I leave
and pat your dogs head on the way
but sorry sir I must leave
I cannot stay
the world I must enter today
too long it has gone by
without me
time to enter the fray
your house is nice
in your wife I cannot find a single vice
her cooking is very good
of yours good sir i will speak not a word
time for me to leave time for me to go
Yes Yes it must be so
time for me to vanish into the snow
