Darkening Demoralization
Guns are pointed and soldiers are screaming.
I squat to the ground, yelling Don’t shoot me!
The firearm loaded behind me,
waiting to unleash internal power on two soldiers.
Sitting here in enemy territory,
I pray for someone to come to my aid.
The ground feels like glass shards in my feet.
showing no mercy on them, cutting into my flesh.
The darkness demoralizes many in dreams.
People shooting all prisoners of war in camps.
The camouflage soldiers scream orders
like parents disciplining their children for bad behavior
Guns are pointed and soldiers are screaming.
