questions she has
curling in the air
pain she feels
her heart that breaks
longing she waits
hoping she looks
though what she doesn't know
there he sits
lonely and longing
regretful and guilty
she hurts he knows
but wants the best
sorry he is
but knows it's not enough
forgiveness he seeks
