Starts With A Smile

I smile,

Only because I don’t want your sympathy
I cry,

Who wouldn’t after all I’ve been through
I lie,

But that sounds bad, so I ‘pretend’
I hide,

The scars on my wrists and the tears in my eyes
I die,

Because I just can’t wait for the end.

I love the way this one flows, its natural and really well done, it makes me kind of depressed. Which is a good thing, the writing is evoking deep emotions

Thank you, I try to only write when I feel I have enough of a connection to move something in my readers also. Thanks again!

This was really strong and emotional enough to where anyone can relate.  You are really good, keep submitting your work :)
