One day we can be happy,
The next all we feel is despair and sadness,
We can feel love and we can hate,
But tomorrow we might not be able to feel passion,
We can be silenced in a second, at any time,
We will no longer communicate,
But things happen in a split second and we can’t take them back
The simple days that we can find are the days you don’t know what to think about,
The days you just don’t care,
When you don’t care about the past,
When you don’t care about tomorrow,
The simple days are when you just think about right now,
The simplest of times when you don’t need it to be sunny so you can be happy,
When you can smile because you know that you can just be you,
Today is not a simple day because I am thinking of you,
Of tomorrow, of what I lost,
And what I need to come back to simple days
