A broken smile
Hides bitter tears
That are evidence
Of all her fears.

She writes her way
Through endless pain,
Her Sorrow, too hard
To contain.

She hardly makes it
Through the night.
She tries to find
Her way through light.

She grasps it, and
She won't give up.
She just needs
A little luck.

The author's comments:
When writing "Luck", I was upset due to things being told to me by people who I thought were my freinds. They insulted me, put me down, stabbed me in the back, and ruined my life. I channeled all of my emotions into writing one night and wrote many, many poems. This one is my favorite, and I hope the reader can relate to being put down, or having a broken heart, or they can think about that the next time they go to hurt someone.
