This is Our World?
Is it wrong to want?
Like when you get your hopes up,
And watch them fall.
To wish for a change,
for a way.
Is that so wrong?
If, when being yourself,
You lose yourself.
Is it wrong to want
To go back,
Or to keep going forward?
When time has got you twisted,
Angry for a way out,
Is it wrong to want
A change of plan,
A change of heart.
And is it so wrong,
To try your best
And when it’s not good enough,
To want a redo,
A do-over?
Is it really so terrible,
To wish,
To want?
