Hurting on the Inside

It hurts, you know.
It hurts to be pushed away.
It hurts to be rejected.
It hurts to be told wrong.
It hurts to taste the bittersweet of unrequited feelings.
It hurts to be led on, then tossed aside like a meaningless piece of trash.
It hurts to be shoved aside when things are just going good.
It hurts to be feared by the innocent with only good intentions flowing through unseen veins.
It hurts not to be understood.
It hurts to be alone.
It hurts so bad.
But it's life.
And life hurts.
