I had a dream I was in love
It was nice,
While it lasted
If only for a cerebral flash
He was a movie star
A model
A face I've seen,
But a name I'll never know
We kissed beneath a tree
Hiding away
As it's tears
Fell in peace around us
Even though he's gone
And if I ever
See him again,
It will be behind closed eyes
That's irrelevent
For dreams carry truth
And if dream-me can
Maybe one day I'll fall too
