One Teardrop
One teardrop that she cries
A simple but longing tear
That seems it last a lifetime
A watered down heart
The cutting and burning
That tares her apart
A soul that wonders but cannot find
Someone to hear her someone who sees
Her for her mind
A girl who shows love and compassion
But finds that she only shows that
She indeed cries and keeps falling
And can’t get up cause her feet have no traction
A girl who cries for days and nights
For reasons in the past that keep her in fright
She has so much hurt and pain that every time she cries
One teardrop seems like rain.
