A day in the life of something else

By the light of the moon
I have come to know
Hope
Peace
Justice
And love
Can not save me
The dead will take there due
Memory blames
Memory shames
Can I save my self?
Nightmares make me scream
Where are the memories of hope?
All the times of happiness are far
Far in the past lies the hope I know
Hope ran
Peace died
Justice killed
And love never was.
