The Struggle
As I sit in my room.
Writing a poem as I moan.
My head spins as a ferris wheel turns.
Tick, tock, tick, tock.
I hear the clock as I would hear a motorcycle move.
The stress continues as I stare at my average.
Thinking as hard as a helmet for a solution.
Still no explanation for this puzzle.
Tick, tock, tick, tock.
There is still no stop on this clock.
I stare blankly at the walls white as snow.
Thinking maybe it’s the end.
I smile slyly with a relief.
Tick, tock, tick, tock.
I find a solution to this problem.
That has stumped me with a sigh.
I sit back down on my bed,
Glaring at my notes.
Knowing this is impossible to complete even for Einstein.
I finally give in.
I give a look at the blank paper with a smirk.
And finally say, I see a solution to this stump.
