Lying in the Snow MAG

By Anonymous

The chill.
creeps up my back,
slips down my shoulders,
wraps around my arms.
I face the night sky.
nature to nature.

beautiful.

terrifying

moonlight envelops my skin,
dances across my eyes.
diamond stars
float through the icy sky,
like fireflies skimming water.
My breath is vapor,
soft against the glassy frost.
I feel the chill.
again.
the snow drifts
and I drift away.
Lying in the snow.

Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments which take your breath away.

You are only as strong as your weakest link.

Great work! I love the imagery in the second stanza.
