"This is what I've learned, in my life: Headbanging is crucial. Growing up is hard to do. There's nothing wrong with wearing a dress." - Hayley Williams

Wasting my time for nothing
I’m staring out into the empty space
Thinking of you, I still can’t deny
Wherever I look, what appears is your face

There was a time, where life was dream
Any time, anywhere, the Sun was bright
Until I realize things was not what it seemed
And the happiness was gone with the light

You still shine your fullest
You just didn’t bring me along
My part in the story was gone
With all the feelings we once shared

Still the lingering emotion
I really can’t let go
Watching here from the side
Watching as you glow

Still in love with your halo as I am
Baby I’m going to try
Maybe one day there’ll be someone
Someone who’s meant for me

This poem is about the feeling of how it feels to have lost a love but to still hold on to it, knowing that soon you'll have to let go.
