Looking through the eyes of despair
I catch a glimpse of of all that's escaped from under me
Pain turns my vision to impair
and sends me on my way home to misery

Beaten down by the tides of grace
And sent to the bottom of the abysmal sea
There is no fight, because death, I want to embrace
Drowning in sorrow, this will surely be the death of me

For happiness I have payed the price
To give my heart out in each and every word
but to this I am no benefice
and silenced, not a single sound can be heard

Screaming through endless voices
Everyone is deaf and blind
Scorched by flames of my choices
leaves me here once again running through endless pages of my mind

pages filled with deep seeded solitude
planted by the soft cold hands of doom
risen through the ground of a heartless world so crude
and blooming with the greatest poems of gloom
