Ah what a luxury it is to me
that in such dark nights i can see
all these creatures and wonders so bright
in the great presence of honorable night
It consumes the air and everything else
so one can get a nice sleep
because it's the light that it repels
While shadows, and other bright natured creatures weep
So skip and dance around! Joyful moon!
Let me join you now, and take flight!
Let me also dance to cricket churps and other tunes
in the beautiful song of luxurious night
