Mirror
Look in the mirror.
What do you see?
Is it your reflection?¬¬
Or a stranger that you see?
You see the simalarities
Between you two.
But something is wrong.
You look the same on the outside,
But underneath the skin,
That’s what really matters.
You see a stranger
Staring back at you.
Oh, how alike you are.
Everyone says that you are the same
That you never changed.
But they don’t know
What you’ve been through.
You’re not the same.
So what changed?
Look deep inside.
Do you see something different?
That smile on your face?
The sparkle in your eye?
You hide it well
So no one can see
What you really are to me.
Look in the mirror.
What do you see?
Is it your reflection?
Or a stranger that you see?
You tell me.
