Gone.
My door is closing
The unseen are calling
The terrors of the night haunt me
The hope of living is nevermore
The chambers in my core are closing
My days are numbered
I stand still and let the weight fall on me
My voice echoes through the darkness
My grave is drawn beneath my shadows
Gone, gone, gone
My window opens bringing in the beast of midnight
The loneliness surrounds me
Until my soul can take it no longer
I breathe shallow breaths
I cry “oh forgiveness!”
My fiery eyes lose their fire
The taunting of the hidden beings stop
My head seems to float
My heart raises its eyes
My grim expression turns into a smile
Then my burden is lifted
Gone, gone, gone
