Summer Time Rhyme
So many things to do,
In so little time.
Trips to Torch Lake
Where the sun always wants to shine.
Trips to Boyne to see an old friend
Friendships that will never end
Staying out late to jump off the pier
Laughing so hard, summer is here
Driving to Pittsburgh to see family friends
Having so much fun, not wanting time to end.
Watching my best friend move away
Leaving me here with no words to say
Those long summer nights
With laughing till we cry
Will now go by like a star in the sky.
Driving around passing town
Radio so loud we can’t hear a sound.
A summer rush that makes you blush,
Leaves you with a summer crush.
Summer is here.
