The Greatest Thing You'll Ever Learn Is To Love And Be Loved In Return -Moulin Rouge

When the thorns of the rose have grazed me
And the coloring of their petals have amazed me
I find myself dazed
In a blissful rage
And wonder why the rose dies at all
With a kiss from my lips,
Words of sweet love,
And plenty of water and sun
I pray that the rose shall live on

When I went to go look at some of the pictures posted up on here, the first one there was titled "a rose is a rose is a rose," so this poem is for that beautiful rose, for Miss Charlotte C., whom photographed said rose.
