So desperate to hang onto the past
Wishing these memories will last
Always trying to seek the future
Knowing nothing for sure
Blankly standing in today
Not minding the world's disdain
Memories fade
And the future will never be here
Today is your only day
Hold it dear
Come tomorrow
It will be gone
So hold the happy
And through the sad be strong
Because yesterday is history,
Just let it go
Tomorrow is a mystery
That you will never know
Today is you day to be
Go against the flow
And I promise
It will bring happiness in tow
