proverbs 31:30 :D

These pieces
They don’t fit
Together
Or apart

I’m fine
Where I am
Just a face in the crowd
A blur in some outdated picture

Don’t force me
To conform
To stand out
To speak up
To quiet down

Because I’ve finally figured out
Who I am
What I want to be
Where I want to go
My purpose in this world

So

These pieces
May not fit
Together with yours
Or apart from humanity’s

But I’m still fine
With where I am
Even though
I’m just a face in the crowd
That random blur in your outdated
photograph

I won’t force you
To conform to their ways
To stand out with me
To speak up for something
To quiet down because you don’t
know

Because you might figure out
Who you are
What you want to be
Where you want to go
And your place in this world
