The Night of the Balloons
The balloons slowly drifted away,
Into the indigo blue sky,
Covered with many bright stars.
They were flying higher and higher.
As the cool breeze swirled around them,
The balloons also danced blissfully.
When I lifted my head up once more,
They have already escaped,
Into the indigo blue night.

Thank you for writing this.
<A little advice, your poem seems to change from the past to the present in the last verse, that's something to watch for.>
Thank you once more, keep on making the world a brighter place :)
