Anyone can make this recipe; you need the ingredients,

a lick of love lightens the load, it takes the burden

gingerly off your shoulders,

a pinch of compassion helps all the other ingredients reach a new zest,

just an ounce of drive impacts the dish,

a trickle of purpose to provide a path for your footprints,

a scrap of bravery to push you through,

but the utterly delicious aroma is from that never-give-up seasoning,

a dash of peace keeps the whole dish from simmering over,

even if only one person eats this entree you made it properly,

they are forever changed like caterpillars turned into butterflies,

some people may make a miniauture amount,

while others cook up gargantuan portions,

both feed others and warm them from their hearts out,

a few may not make any at all- they don’t feel like cooking this recipe,

I recommend adding a drop of you to give the food sparkle,

a splatter of humor to make smiles magically appear,

or a colossal lump of encouragement to lift up spirits like weights in the air,

this recipe is manageable, the average cook could bake it easily,

it may take a while to get the perfect result and consistency,

a portion might struggle to find all the ingredients,

go to disparate markets for ingredients and keep recreating this recipe,

anyone can do it and make a piping hot dish of changing the world.

I read three of your poems and they were all amazing! The way you use the spacing of your words makes such a great impact. My favorite was the the (occasional poison) of love. I never really thought of love that way. You are really talented. :)

This is beautiful.

I am uplifted, just as if you had fed me that gargantuan lump of encouragement.

I would like to return that encouragement, with my own little twists of self-lemon, and some of the sparkle from my eye.

You are a writer. An amazing writer. With an amazing poem to your credit.

Thank you, in my own words.
