Hope Within

A story once told to me by a girl,
brought sorrow to my mind.
A girl who never felt happiness,
nor thought she belonged.
No one should feel this way
but she did, and always did.
Trying so hard to end her life,
she became unsuccessful.
Unsuccessful because she had hope within.
Unsuccessful because she knew she had a purpose.
A purpose that would bring contentment to her soul.
And she would once again feel cherished.
