When I first saw you, it blew me away
Your eyes, your smile, the way you said my name
My breath grew short, when you said okay
For you, my love, are the target at which I aim.
My love, my confidant, only you hold my gaze
Falling for you, as you fell for me
It wasn’t hard for you to amaze
And this is the way we will always be
Your skin feels so warm against mine
Our hearts beating faster, our breaths streaming like fire
Moving in rhythm our bodies align
Being with you is my one true desire
Running off together with our fingers entwined,
Let’s run off together and leave the world behind

This is a poem about letting love take you over, body and mind.
