We bend.
We break.
And then we fall again.
Pieces lying on the floor,
Memories of a promise never kept.
Standing secluded in the rubble,
The broken pieces of shattered hearts.
Ashes to ashes
And dust to dust.
Lovers without a history,
An illusion of what was never meant to be.
