Nothing else to be done

Sit, wait, hope.
Nothing else to be done.
My fate lies in your hands.
Some would repremand me,
Tell me that I'm wasting life.
But is love not worth the wait?
Even though you aren't here now
I know one day you'll come.
And I'll be here waiting,
With open arms to greet you.
But if I do leave as they wish,
I risk losing all the time that has passed,
But also all the time to come
For you are my future.
So then it is decided.
Here I shall wait.
For how long? Who knows.
But I do know:
There is nothing elso to be done.
